Kenneth Gelpi serves as Chair of the Admiralty & Maritime Section for the Firm and has over 20 years of experience. His practice encompasses all aspects of admiralty and maritime law. He represents vessel interests and their insurers concerning charter and contractual issues, collisions, casualties, pollution events, insurance coverage and personal injury matters.
He received his J.D. from Loyola University of New Orleans School of Law in 1995 and his B.S. from the University of Alabama in 1991. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, all state and federal courts in Louisiana and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
