Micah is an associate in the firm’s New Orleans office where he focuses his practice on commercial transactions and complex litigation. Before joining the firm, Micah clerked for The Honorable Judge June Berry Darensburg of the Twenty-Fourth Judicial District Court, State of Louisiana. He earned his J.D. and a certificate in Civil Law from Tulane University Law School in 2015, where he graduated Order of the Barristers and received the Tulane 34 Award and Tulane Student Crest Award. Micah was also a recipient of the Dean’s Honor Scholarship and the Louisiana Judicial Council/National Bar Association Scholarship. While at Tulane, Micah served as Chief Justice of the Honor Board, an associate in the Civil Litigation Clinic and Tulane University Legal Assistance Program, and a member of Moot Court. Micah is a former judicial intern for The Honorable Judge Fredericka Homberg Wicker, Louisiana Court of Appeal, Fifth Circuit. He is licensed to practice in Louisiana, all Louisiana federal courts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Prior to attending law school, Micah earned his M.B.A. in Finance and B.A., magna cum laude, from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Micah worked for six years in banking and finance at Regions Bank (formerly AmSouth) where he worked in small business lending and healthcare real estate development. Micah is also a former board member and Loaned Executive of the United Way of Central Alabama and a former Volunteer Advocate for Children with the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association (Orlando, FL).
