Jared LeBlanc represents corporate clients across several industries including oilfield services, directional drilling, exploration and production, construction, commercial real estate, non-destructive testing, and the hospitality industry. He handles various matters for, including catastrophic personal injury claims, landlord-tenant disputes, land disputes, and he successfully defended an NFL coach in a dispute with a former player.
Jared began his career trying cases. The day after passing the Texas Bar Exam, he was sworn in by a trial judge and gave his first opening statement to a jury ten minutes later. Since then, Jared has tried several commercial and injury cases to verdict in state and federal courts, represented claimants and respondents in arbitrations, written briefs and argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and written petitions to the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. LeBlanc graduated with high honors from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, with a degree in philosophy. After completing his undergraduate work, Jared gave some thought to becoming a philosophy professor but decided to follow his childhood ambition and go to law school instead. He attended South Texas College of Law in Houston, where he graduated with honors.
Jared received the Bodman Foundation Award for Excellence in Legal Writing, and served as assistant articles editor of the South Texas Law Review. He was also a judicial intern for Judge Harold R. DeMoss, Jr., on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
